Who handles your data

The controller is Keyframe — Digital Estate Agency in the Algarve, operating in the municipalities of Loulé, Faro and São Brás de Alportel. For any question about personal data, including exercising the rights set out below, write to geral@keyframe.pt.

What we collect, and why

Free valuation request

We collect the property address, the postcode, the property type, the floor area and your email address. These are used to prepare the valuation and to send you the report. Without them we can neither carry out the valuation nor reply to you.

Viewing request

We collect your name, your email address and/or your phone number, and any message you write, together with the property the request refers to. These are used to agree a day and time for the viewing with you.

Use of the site

We count how many times each property is viewed and whether visitors go on to use the 3D virtual tour — which rooms they move through, and whether they open it full screen. This tells us which properties draw interest and whether 3D tours are worth continuing to produce.

These counts do not identify you. We store neither your IP address nor anything in your browser, and the identifier that groups the clicks of a single visit is generated on the spot, exists only while the page is open and disappears when you close it — the next time you come back, there is no way for us to know you had been here before.

Technical data attached to submissions

With each submitted form we also store the IP address, the browser used and the page you were on when you submitted it. These are used to block abusive automated submissions and to let us identify your request should you ask us to erase it. We do not use them to follow you around the site, or to build any kind of profile.

On what legal basis

We process this data on the basis of your consent — the box you tick before submitting the form — under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before you did so.

For how long

We keep requests for as long as the contact is live, and for up to two years after our last communication with you, so that we can pick the conversation back up if you get in touch again. After that period they are erased. If we go on to enter into a contract, any data the law requires us to keep — notably for tax and estate agency purposes — is retained for the applicable statutory period.

Processors

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

We use technology service providers to host the site, store the requests you submit and route email communications. These providers process the data solely on our behalf, under processing agreements binding them to our instructions and to obligations of confidentiality and security, and they may not use it for their own purposes. The information is processed on servers located in the European Union, or by providers offering safeguards equivalent to those the GDPR requires.

Displaying the site may also involve loading components — typefaces and the 3D virtual tours — from these providers' servers. Those requests install no cookies and collect no information about you beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the content.

Cookies

This site uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The usage counts described above are anonymous and leave no trace on your device. There are no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking — which is why you will not find a banner here asking you to accept anything either.

Your rights

At any time, and without having to give a reason, you may ask us for access to the data we hold about you, its rectification, its erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or you may object to the processing. Just write to geral@keyframe.pt — we reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we have not handled the matter as we should have, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados, Portugal's data protection authority.
